  1. Have found that this opens later in the day than some of the other attractions and closes earlier. This could be that we went in October so it’s darker earlier.

We went mid week and it wasn’t busy but didn’t realise that when you see the exit sign there is now more to the labyrinth. When we went at the weekend there was a 15 minute queue which looked to be getting longer. I wouldn’t go up the tower if there is a lot of people if you can’t get up and down stairs quick enough. Some people don’t have much patience.
I like the leaping water and the kids liked shouting at the Queen of Hearts and the cards.

It’s good to take a break from the rides where you sit down but you can’t take in a buggy and to my mind it didn’t look big enough to fit a wheelchair in (I could be mistaken though)

  2. I’m impatient to vist the freshly renewed labyrinth, since when I first visited it in January, it wasn’t in very good shape…
But a lot has been fixed, freshened up and repainted, I’ll get lost once again in a few days (even if I’m 47!)

  3. What a great way of getting the kids active! After a long day queuing, this was just what they needed.

Make sure that you don’t save it for the end of the day, as it closes fairly early.

  4. Personally, I think that this attraction was more fun when I was smaller, as it’s easier for you to get lost! But even as an adult it is still fun to take a break from the big rides through the day and wander around the labyrinth, taking photos and such.

  5. My kids loved this attraction and the best thing has to be the fact there is no queue. Another good thing is the many many many photo opportunities that pop up as you wander through it. So nice not to be rushed – a rare thing in any holiday resort!

  6. This is the best walk-through attraction in Disneyland Park. Although it may be looking a little bit worse for wear, Alice’s Curious Labyrinth has loads to explore and discover. You could easily spend an hour in this attraction.

I especially like the area with the dodo and other creatures (try and catch the water coming from the little spouts!) and the Queen of Hearts castle (although there’s not much to do there it’s still got a good view and nice theming).

Look out for the Caterpillar smoking his hookah pipe and watch out for the Queen of Hearts and her evil guards!

  7. This can be a good attraction when it is fully operational.
It is great for children and adults alike and it’s not as easy as it may first look!
There is a lot to look at and plenty of photo opportunities. The castle at the end is nothing special but you do get a good view of fantasyland and the slide is great for little ones.

[Editor's note: The slide closed in the first year of the park's operation.]

  8. It was fun. Actually, my family managed to get lost a few times. A fun walk-through, with water squirts, and tons to look at. The castle at the end was cute, though not as exciting as I’d hoped; maybe because it was so crowded, as it’s pretty tiny. Good photos can be taken though of the whole park, from the top.

  9. This hedge maze is fantastic in design, but I was surprised at the horrendous state that it was in: peeling paint, exposed electrical wires, trash strewn about, and the queen of hearts looked absolutely sad with her broken “crown”. This attraction needs TLC!

8, but in its current state: 2 (bad showanship!)

  10. Was quite disappointed with this maze to be honest, I had done it 15years ago when the park opened and loved it! Perhaps because it was off season when we done it this time (march 08), there were no water squirts, no characters. We did manage to get lost a few times, it’s definately a walk through for if you need to pass some time, and younger children will enjoy!! The castle at the end of the maze does get very crowded and when it rains the winding steps become quite slippery so do beware!! Lovely views from the top of the castle however!!

  11. Good fun as theres something unexpected at every turn. It is possible to get pretty lost in here tho and in some ways i felt like id wasted an hour trying to find my way out, when id only intended to have a quick look!

The castle in the middle gets very full, and its hard to get a good look over the park as a result of this. The water spouts are great fun too watch and kids especially love them.

  12. Great little walkaround if you want to waste some time, Be prepared to get a little wet and meet some familiar characters along the way.
On busy days the castle at the end of the maze gets crowded as its only very small, but if you can get up the stairs you get a nice view of Fantasyland

  13. I love this maze, but then I love the film too. It has all the familar characters and is a great one for having your photo taken ( I have had many a pose with the caterpillar! ) I really love watching the water spouts, and on a windy day this can be even more entertaining when they miss their target ! LOL This gives me great pleasure to watch unsuspecting passers by who have not realised this!!!! I am a nice person really! LOL

The castle gives you a brilliant view over the park but can get a little crowded. We went in autumn and winter, so I cant imagine what it would be like in summer. You have to do this one. 9/10

  14. This maze is really fun for all ages and one that you will really enjoy. The water spouts are really clever and the castle is lovely (not as lovely as Sleeping Beauty’s castle but still nice!)! I really like going through the maze and finding the hidden surprises!

  15. A pleasant maze with plenty of things to look at and explore. This attraction is pretty much entirely in the open so beware on very hot days. Worth a look.

Alice’s Curious Labyrinth

Walk-through hedge maze leading past various characters to the Queen of Hearts castle.

This way, that way, up and over – Alice’s confusing adventures in Wonderland are a maze of quirky characters, colourful flowers and frightful royalty! Dash through the water jets, around the curving hedges and through the tricky Queen of Hearts Maze.
