  1. We took the kids on here but again didn’t realise we were suppose to be snow white. The kids didn’t seem to bothered by the ride although they didn’t want to go on it again. Was slightly disappointed by the ride as the queues were long and the ride so quick. It is slightly dated though.

My advice is to go on if there is not much queue and be careful with little kids as they may not like it.

  2. The first time I went on this ride I was surprised at how scary it was for a ride about Snow White! It is a dark ride and actually tells the tale of the scary adventures of Snow White. There are some clever effects in this ride but again it is slightly dated, as is pinocchio.

I think this ride could be frightening for young children so do not go on this ride expecting it to be bright and colourful and telling the happy, gentle story of snow white as you may find your child crying by the end!

In General a nice ride to do once or twice!

  3. Very scary for the little ones, and neitherof my children wanted to ride again. I didn’t realize that this was supposed to be from Snow White’s perspective, and wish this had been made clearer.

  4. To agree with the other reviews, this is a little scary for children, maybe even big kids! Also, I believe that Snow White does not appear frequently because in the original ride ‘Snow White’s Scary Adventures’, you yourself were meant to be Snow White, seeing the witch, dwarfs etc from her point of view. Still a really nice ride to fill in a few minutes and take some time out from the thrills.

  5. This ride could be scarier than Phantom Manor for young children, but it’s great fun to boo the witch and call out in surprise as the witch tempts you with her poisoned apples!

Look out for all sorts of spooky animals as you go (vultures, crocodiles etc.) and a whole forest of moving evil trees! In the queue line, look out for a raven’s moving shadow in the witch’s potion room to the right. The first scene in the dwarves’ cottage is cheerful and cute.

  6. Maybe scary for children and some adults, yet still a lovely ride.

Telling the tale that started it all off “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. Some may say it is disappointing that the dwarfs and Snow White appear only twice. The ride does appear to be more about the witch.

However it is an enjoyable 21/2 minutes. Queues can form very quickly as this is not an extra magic hour ride. Be warned it is very dark in some places, and watch out as the witch could be anywhere!!!

  7. Gorgeous gentle little ride! Tells the story of snow white as you ride around in a dwarfs mine cart. Mum screamed when the wicked witch jumped out, very funny for a 50 year old! Great for kids and those who like a little calm in between all of the wild rides.

  8. Frightening for young children , but true to the disney film. A good ride to go on as queues are generally short and you can get on quite quick. The effects are good as you go through the forest and the trees jump out of you and the stepmother changes into the old witch.

  9. A bit disappointing as Snow White only appears once in the whole thing. I now we’re suppose to be Snow White and see her views on the story however the ride is more about the witch not enough dwarfs, songs, and happy animals. Still worth seeing if a Snow White fan but may frighten small children and adults. Queues appear very quick.

  10. When i went to disney i was lucky enough to be able to walk straight on this ride. It is over abit too quickly to appreciate the story. I was then fortanate enough to be able to get straight back on, which enabled me to appreciate the ride abit more.

The witch is actually quite scary and i was 27! But this is mostly because she appears out of dark corners and walls, so its more of a case of making you jump.

I should imagine alot of children would be frightened by this ride.

  11. if you really want to ride this, head straight for it when the park opens, or use your magic hours (when staying in a Disney Hotel)
Queues can get really long, up to and over an hour for a relativly short ride length.
The ride itself can be scary in parts, but i find it goes round too fast to really take in the animatronics and the story.
try and do it if the queues are not too long

  12. Looking a little bit dated, and can be genuinely quite a scary ride for even adults. The absolutely horrible animatronic of snow white at the end of the ride is a bit disappointing, but nevertheless it’s a decent ride which should be done if possible.

  13. In this ride, guests are supposed to “be” Snow White as she journeys through a scary forest and defeats the wicked queen. This leads to a pretty scary experience, the wicked queen pops out at guests at every corner and the forest is particularly dark and foreboding It’s very intimidating for young children and even some adults. Snow White herself does appear in the corny and out of place final scene.

Overall though this is a well done dark ride, which can attract a long line. Try riding in the first couple of hours of opening, or near closing.
