  1. WHAT. A. BRILLIANT. SHOW.

It was raining when we went, so we decided to give this a go. The lovely man at the entrance let us in with our hot chocolates, so we already fell in love with him!

Half an hour of entertainment seated very comfortably and it really caught my attention, which speaks for itself as I usually bore easily. I thought the two water scenes were good, and generally the whole show from start to finish was really clever.

Was a total piece of bliss from the rain and a real pleasure to watch.

  2. This is one of my favourite shows in the studios. I saw it twice with my dad last year due to the torrential rain and for me it got better each time I watched it. It is so creative, I want to know how they do it. Younger children may not understand what is going on but they will watch in awe at the effects – especially when it rains in the studios for a minute or two.

  3. One of my absolute favourites! Catch this every time i visit at least once! Recently saw it with my 5 year old nephew for the first time and he really enjoyed it. Especially the Star Wars bit! Really funny to see the reaction of the first timers to the beginning (wont give anything away)! Some of the films went over the head of a 5 year old but overall he really enjoyed it and its a welcome sit down for 30 minutes!!!!

  4. Probably the best attraction at the Walt Disney Studios.

  5. A M A Z I N G.
I had some fear when I saw the Titanic part… you’ll understand when you attend !

  6. Amazing! Ive been to dlrp 8 times (going for the 9th time on the 16th heehe’e) and I never miss it! Special effects are brilliant and no matter how many times you watch it it just never gets boring!

  7. We never miss this attraction when we visit the studios. We love it! Everything about it is amazing and no matter where you sit you are guaranteed a great view.

First timers would do well to sit near the front, that is all we will say.

  8. One not to miss!
10 year old daughter thought this was fantastic, as did the parents. Won’t give the plot away. Very cleverly done.

  10. The best “cinema show” at all the resort, even if you do not like to go to this kind of attractions you must go on this one. Really great.

All the sensations that you experience and all the visual effects that you can see, gives to you a fantastic 20 minutes in the park. And the best part is, you can arrive to the cinema 3 minutes before the show starts, that you can still find a good place to see the movie.

  12. The fabulous show of the Walt Disney Studios. Arrive 5 minutes before the doors open or you won’t have a seat, and don’t sit on the first line of seats, in front of the scene.

Amazing. I can’t describe this. Don’t forget to turn off your cellphones and your camera, and live the magic of the movies… des deux côtés de l’écran (before your eyes) !

  13. Amazing ride.
Was stupid to believe the first part was real but that was how good it was performed.
Very interesting show with amazing effects and was very graceful.
One of the more favourite of my rides.

    GREAT!

  14. A very entertaining, exciting show. I was too young to catch many of the movie references, though! My parents loved how the characters moved from the different films, though. My brother and I still appreciated it, despite not getting most of the movie references. Definitely one to see!

  15. This was my favourite attraction in Walt Disney Studios before Crush’s coaster came along. It is a great chance to sit back and relax and enjoy the history of cinema. I have learned so much from the film regarding the early days of cinema. The attraction itself is so clever and again there is always something new to spot every time I experience it.

The best time I find for great audience reaction is either of the first two showings. However it does get quieter during the day so there are better available seats at the later showings.

  16. Well worth a watch. The special effects are amazing and i guarentee in parts will have you fooled.

Not sure this one will keep younger children amused for the whole 30mins and may be better suited to teenagers and adults.

Huge theatre, so no real worries about getting a seat either, and especially good for taking the weight off your feet and still being entertained.

  17. The first bit is very clever!! First time i watched it, i was quite annoyed..and then embarrassed (you’ll know why when you go on it!) Good effects and nice story.

Good to go on when the weathers naff, or if you want to sit down for 25 minutes. But its good to go on anyway.

  18. A half hour film show which is well worth watching. I have seen this several times and enjoyed it more with each viewing. It stars comedian Martin Short as a traveler through time in search of a lady (Julie Delpy) with whom he falls in love. There are some very clever special effects and is most entertaining. The art deco themed theatre seats 1100 people so don’t bother to queue. Ideal for a rest when you get tired! 100% enjoyment! 10/10

  19. This is a brilliant show and my husband and I really enjoyed it. The special effects are fantastic and well worth seeing. This show is great when your legs just need a rest but you still need entertaining!

  20. Thought it was a very clever and enjoyable show.
    Would definately watch it again.
My kids weren’t sure but I think you need to be a little bit older too understand it, know the old films, etc, etc

  21. I really love it! Probably it is the best show in all DLRP. Very nice story, very nice music, brilliant actors. I-LOVE-IT!

  22. I cannot say how much I love this show. I LOVE it!! It really is a showcase of Disney magic and imagineering, and everytime I see it I still think ‘how did they do that?’ Do not want to ruin it for those who have not seen it yet, but I can say that there are some fantastic film clips shown, and the transition between the clips is seemless. A lovely story, brilliant score and all the magic of Hollywood. Do not miss this gem!

  23. A very different sort of show – wasn’t expecting it to be anything like that. However it works quite well; some of the effects are very good and help improve the whole show, and the movie itself is quite clever and fun to watch. Definitely worth a look.

  24. This is an utterly charming attraction starring Martin Short and Julie Delpy. The 25 minute movie shows Martin Short getting sucked “into” the movies, and desperately trying to escape back into the real world. Throughout his adventure he goes through all genres: slapstick, western, horror and even romance. Martin and Julie are cleverly integrated into classic movie scenes, and it’s fun identifying the movies they are in!

Although the majority of the attraction is a standard movie, there are some “in theatre” effects that liven things up a little. Overall Cinemagique is excellent and a “must do” at the Studios.

There is some dialogue in the movie, some in French, some in English. If you don’t understand the French dialogue it has little effect on the enjoyment of the movie. Cinemagique is on many times throughout the day and it’s easy to get into a showing. Don’t bother lining up beforehand, just walk into the theatre a few minutes before showtime. This is a great attraction to do during the middle of the day, and makes for a nice air conditioned break.
