  1. Along with the Dumbos & Small World this has to be yet another iconic ride at Disney, eberybody loves this yet the ques don’t seem to be that long whenever we are visiting. I like the idea that most children can actually ride without an adult via the safety belt & that gives them a fantastic feeling of being able to do something on their own (my 8 & 3 year old think so anyway). Hence the 10 out of 10 great for all ages

  2. This is fantastic and although it’s slow to load as they have to check all kids are strapped on and their is enough room for 90 people. (We went on enough times to count!!)

The horses sometimes stop very high and I though as a tall person i’d reach and it was difficult. Be prepared for people to get a bit shovey as they want certain horses first, but a good ride and a must as it’s lovely once it gets going.

  3. I think this is ride is great for those of us who always dreamed of having a horse and to go riding off on an adventure! I like the fact that there are different sized horses for all heights and sizes and for those who do not want to/of cannot get onto the horses they can ride this Carrousel sitting in a chariot! I find this great because I can get on the horse and my mum who is in her late 50’s can also come on the ride and sit down and not miss out!

I don’t personally think it’s a ride you will want to do over and over again but it’s still a lovely fairytale type addition to fantasyland!

  4. I couldn’t imagine Fantasyland without this beautiful carousel (the largest in Europe, I’ve heard) and the lovely organ music.

  5. Lovely traditional carousel, but it was difficult for a short mother like myself to climb on top of my little horse. My 3-year old loved it.

  6. Children will love this ride but anyone over about 10 is sure to have even a tiny glimmer of boredom as it’s so gentle and sedate. Still worth doing though, and it’s worth making an effort to get a horse on the very outside row as they’re the most stunning. There’s a couple of chariots too for whole families to sit in.

  7. Very pretty to look at and fits in well with the Fantasyland theme. Kids seemed to love this ride and most of the time we were there the queues were very short.

  8. Wonderful traditional merry-go-round with amazing colourful horses! Sometimes the queue is massive, so if you see it quite short get in line!

  9. This is a beautiful traditional carousel suituated in Fantasyland. Will appeal from small children to adults alike. Obviously not wildly exciting but worth having go as the lines tend not to be too big for this attraction and it is larger than most carousels I have ever seen so it will hold quite a large number of guests at a time.

  10. This is a really lovely traditional looking ride, and is a real beauty. But, I think its better to look at than ride. Theres only so much fun that can be had from going round and round! This is probably a good one for the kids and less adventurous adults. Beautifully lit at night. 7/10

  11. This huge Carousel may be dull to an adult, but all my children loved it – many many times. If we were nearby, and there wasn’t a queue they had another ride. Disney is for children and this beautiful enormous carousel addresses that perfectly.

    10/10 for the children.

  12. This very attractive carousel is beautiful to look at. However the ride experience itself is the same as any carousel in any fairground. Worth a ride if the queue is short.

Le Carrousel de Lancelot

Old-fashioned merry-go-round/carousel with horses and carriages.

Prepare for a wonderfully enchanting ride on one of Sir Lancelot’s beautiful horses. Whether you choose to ride your own noble steed or relax in an ornate carriage, you’re sure to arrive at a fairytale ending.
