Blue Lagoon Restaurant is an experience that nobody should miss. At least once you should treat yourself to this magnificent place. Where else can you eat "inside" a ride and this ride being none other than "Pirates of the Caribbean". The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic.

As for the food, I find it excellent. Good variety of exotic Caribbean dishes, cocktails and deserts (I highly recommend the crème brûlée, the best I've ever tasted). The service matches the restaurants theme and food. Solid!

I have been visiting this particular restaurant since 1992 and I never experienced a single problem or let down. Sometimes the service is a bit slow due to large crowds (hardly noticeable) and totally expected. Same as the fellow reviewer below me (mafju), I can't understand all these bad reviews that this restaurant keeps on receiving. 10/10 from me!

We've only visited the Blue Lagoon once, hoping that it would be similar to the Blue Bayou in Disneyland. Of course, theming-wise, it is, however the choice and quality of food is nowhere near as good, and even the atmosphere is lacking a little something. My advice would be to try it once.

Our meal was fine, but just that. The quality was good, but the half-board plus menu had few options, so I ended up with a saltier main course than I would have preferred. Good dessert though! We had a waterside table, but there wasn't that much to see really, just people floating by on a boat. That wouldn't be important to me if I return to the restaurant again.

We visited Disneyland Paris for the 4th time this New Years and on each occasion promised to try Blue Lagoon. We booked in advance for New Years Night , and I have to say it was a huge let down.

The food was obviously prepared well in advance & not freshly prepared, e.g I had the shrimp cocktail and it was very cold it was obviously taken straight from the fridge, and the rice which came with my main dish was hard around the edges from the reheat. The rest of my family had similarly disappointing meals.

The ladies toilet was an absolute disgrace and none of the Staff seem to care in the least. My advice is its not worth the view of POC and feel the Staff need to up their game as the Disney Village restaurants are far superior. I would give this restaurant 3/10. Spend your money elsewhere.

Third stay in DLP and our second trip to the Blue Lagoon, and it was as great as I'd remembered.

The resteraunt itself is wonderfully themed right in the heart of the PoTC ride, as you cross the bridge over the river and are seated in the resteraunt with its bamboo funiture and sand floor you really feel part of the action.

There is a good choice of unusal Carribean themed food, with a real distinctive twist, dont look for any pizza or burgers on this menu. I myself went off the set menues and had the flambade Ostrich stake which was out of this world and the creme brule', both of which come flaming hot to your table - a nice touch!! (if you like rum!!) Three of our party had the 19.90 euro 40 minute menu and I would highly recomend this, they all had the Carribean chicken curry (korma like) followed by a nice selection of about 3 small deserts on a plate together (plus chocolate palm tree!) and a gourmet coffe. Well wort it!! There was a good choice of both a la carte and set meals to suit all budgets and appetities ranging from this 19 euro one to a 40 euro full three course meal. The children's meals were good, served in the nice 3 dish Mickey server like the other table service resteraunts and served slightly before the adults to allow you to enjoy your meal also.

I can not recomend this highly enough- of all the various meals we ate in a 5 day stay this was probably the one most enjoyed by all members of our group - ideal for a quick meal stop or a full blown push the boat out (sorry, couldn't resist!!) evening meal experience just before enjoying the night parade or fireworks. A real treat.

For years and years we sailed past it on the Pirates of the Caribbean and for years we said we must do it. Well, on one trip we finally decided to take the plunge.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the smell gorgeous. We sat at our table and were greeted by a wonderful waiter who was polite and served us very quickly.

Now, this is all great but the main reason you go into a restaurant is for food. This is the point that let Blue Lagoon down. I had the curry which was terrible.

If this had been an attraction then 10/10 for themeing but as it was a restaurant then they get 2/10 and no more. Don't go under pain of death!

Good views of POC.

Apart from that in my family we have a special name for this restaurant; namely RIP OFF COUNTRY.

But hey! If you want to pay £££££££££££ for mediocre food and a good view of POC then that's fine with me!

I'll be waiting at the Hyperion or Pizza Planet.

As I said - THEME PARKS DON'T DO FINE DINING

We ate here on our first trip to DLP in Nov 2004 and was not disappointed!! It really is a magical location, I can imagine all the more popular now with the success of the PotC films.

A truly lovely setting with the Caribbean atmosphere and boats from the ride cruising past. The menu is mainly seafood, I had the platter which included a vast selection of various shell fish and oysters served up on crushed ice - I recently had practically the same at the famous Grand Central Oyster Bar at New York, and the quality at DLP was just as good. My not so adventurous boyfriend had the chicken curry which was also very nice.

We finished our meal just in time to watch the closing fireworks show - a perfect end to a wonderful Disney evening!!

Was disappointed to find the ride itself and restaurant closed [for refurbishment] in Nov 2007 when we last visited, otherwise we would have gone back to dip our toes in this lagoon!

This is the most amazing experience at Disneyland.
The lighting and atmosphere in the restaurant is immense.
The food is to die for, and the menu is varied. Although they have the more tropical seafood dishes they still have chicken curry and roast beef.
Service is not slow in my opinion and the waiters are very friendly.

The best place to sit is by the water so that you can see the people in the boats on the Pirates Of The Caribbean ride (and wave to them like we do!!!!)
