This has always been one of our favourite place to eat in the park on each visit to DLP but I have to admit to being a little disappointed on our visit this week. The food didn't seem quite as good and the prices seemed to have shot up.

The half barbecue chicken I always have now comes with wedges instead of fries which was fine but then, inexplicably, there was a horrible sausage (veal?) unnecessarily in there as well.

My husband had the texan platter, we had a pudding each - key lime pie and pecan pie (both very nice) and a beer each as one of the set menus and it came to 32 euros.

Cowboy Cookout is a great place, especially of you visit during the fall, at Halloween time or so..

The decor is nice and it is a cosy place...Sometimes there is some live music, which really adds tot the atmosphere.

My sister and I like to just sit down and have a drink and some churros here, but lunch is great too..Burgers taste nice here.

The only drawback here is that it can be really busy and you have to wait a long time in line.

Great themeing but long waiting times especially when the Tarzan show is over. I was disappointed that they don't carry the chili con carne anymore. I know they have the chili burger but why do they have to but everything between burger buns?

Nice restaurant. The western theme is great in winter, cause there is even a cozy fireplace inside. The food choice is great, chicken with barbecue sauce, burgers, baked potato, soup, spare ribs and so on. Service is good too.

If you really hungry and want to choose one of the "fastfood" options this is the best place! A half chicken or a huge portion of pork rib in a meal will make you happy and full. The food is delicious and not expensive. During the lunch hours you can listen to the "Cowboy band".
Yes, if the park is busy and you going there during lunch time you have to wait - but where not? My favourite counter service restaurant in the park. I can recommend for everyone! At last a restaurant where you can have other than burger!!! ( I visited this place in September 2007)

I think the initial 2 reviews in this thread are spot on. Nice location and theming (the fires inside that you can sit around during the cold months are a particularly nice touch), but very average fast food and frequently poor service. Come on DLRP, sort your restaurants out!

Have mixed feelings about this restaurant - generally as good as the person who is serving you! They seem to have changed the menu now so it is more generic, but they used to offer great (and huge) baked potatoes and Western dishes, whereas now it seems to have gone for the quick 'n' easy burgers 'n' fries solution.

Most of the time the food in here is lukewarm at best, my advice is do not put up with this, take it back (go to the side of queue so you are seen and do not have to queue again) and complain.

Food can be quite good, but these days I would probably try Au Chalet before going here, especially because it is a little more out the way.

Best place in the Park if you like a fast food burger. A few of the other meals are good also and of a good size. Can become very full if you arrive while the "Tarzan" show is letting out as the crowd goes right past the door.

I visited during Halloween 2007 when the park was incredibly busy, so I left lunch until 14.30. This was a good move with only three people in front of me,however it took nearly ten minutes to get served as everyone was paying by credit card which takes much longer to authorize in France than the UK where I live, cheques take even longer!

The atmosphere was great with a three piece country and western band playing and the food is amongst the best of DLRP fast food outlets and because of its location, tucked away in Frontierland,is not usually overly busy. My dining tip, try the half a barbecued chicken and potato wedges, more chicken than most of us could eat and in November 2007 only 9 euros for chicken, potato and drink. There is also a large outdoor eating area for good weather days

I think this place is great for lunch. The Magic Cheesburgers are delicious and not too badly priced. You often find a few characters hidden away to the left of the place outside which is great as there are not too many people crowded round. Friendly staff too.
