  1. We all really liked this parade, the timing (17:00) is just right for young children as we were able to watch this and then head to the Disney Village for our early evening meal (booked at 6:15pm).

My daughter (3) loved the floats and seeing all the characters, they even sometimes interact with the crowd and it makes for great photo and video opportunities.

We watched the parade in Main St, the first time we were at the end of the straight but the second time we were in front of the Main St Station and this was a much better position as the floats come very close by.

  2. I have seen this parade many times now. I think it is a great parade, with some of the most beautiful floats! The first time you see it you will be blown away! Each float tells two stories and features characters from 2 Disney films and moves to the great sountrack of “Just like we dreamed it”, again a must do!

If you want a good view of the parade you should stake out your spot early as crowds gather fast and it can be hard to have a good view with people infront. Also Many parents put their young children on their shoulders and this can block your view so if you want a good view of this parade get a space early!

  3. I must say, this is without a doubt the best parade I have ever seen at Disneyland Paris. There’s such a huge variety of characters, and plenty of time for children to watch them, and have them interact with guests. The floats were beautiful to look at, and the costumes were as stunning as ever. In my opinion, however, it is the music that makes this parade so special. Such a brilliant choice for song, and when we got back home we were still singing ‘Just Like We Dreamed It’ months after!

  4. Very good parade. It’s not the most amazing parade i’ve ever seen, (like someone said in a review) but still very good specially for the children. Best place to watch the parade? The main square next to the park entrance because the cars make the turn on the square and you’ll see them for more time. Don’t miss it!

  5. This parade was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life! This was what I was most looking forward to on my first ever trip to Disneyland this February.

My first day in the park I arrived 15 minutes before the parade started so I knew there would be nowhere to see it from. I was actually pleased with the view we had as we were raised up more and didn’t have people’s heads in the way! I did notice some of the smells from certain floats which was a lovely touch. On my final day in the park I waited by the side of the road for an HOUR to save my place ready for the parade. Thanks to DLPR Magic website I knew exactly where to stand to see the float stop I wanted to see!! So thanks for that!!

The 2 floats stops I saw were the Toy Story and The final Princess float which was so magical! The streamers that came flying around at the end of the 2 float stops were lovely to keep if you managed to catch one!! I loved the music and was so glad I could buy the single of it in selected shops around the park! I’ve listened to it non-stop since I got home!! Being that close to the characters with the music and the atmosphere was fantastic, just so magical.

My one major issue is how pushy certain people can be making sure their kids are at the front. My advice… Save you spot by sitting down on the edge of the pavement and stand your ground. Don’t let others push you out of the way. If you want a great view, get there earlier, simple as that!

  6. This parade is great, its quite long too. Best way to see all your favourite characters all at once. Just make sure you stand for while to get a good spot to see it.

  7. This is the best parade that Disney ever did i love the show stop. I wish they could make a parade like this at Disneyland in CA.

  8. Oh My Goodness!!!

What a magical parade I sat there with my lollipop and I don’t think I ate any because my jaw was on the ground with happiness. I didn’t really notice the scents but since I have discovered DLRP Magic i have found out so when I go back in october with my school friends I will remember to smell the floats. Me and my family got to the parade about 45 minutes before the start.

I loved they ways disney put all the special effects onto the floats for example: the waterfall on ariels float, the smoke and lights on peter pan and mary poppins float and loads more.

Thank you disney for a magical parade !

  9. Fantastic parade, could have watched it over and over!

  10. Reading the reviews below I’m afraid that I must have been watching a different parade. To me it looks very aged, there’s too much of a gap between the floats (Although I can see that this is possibly for safety reasons), the floats all look like they could do with a lick of paint and worst of all the coordination of music between floats appears to have gone astray.

All in all, out of what was a wonderful Disney experience, this was the biggest disappointment.

  11. Such an amazing parade the best so far. The floats are beautifully decorated and the scents coming off of them are gorgeous too. Its well worth the 30 minutes – an hour long wait.

The song Just Like We Dreamed it anticipates the waiting time and the show stops. Its all amazingly choreographed with a number of characters that have been absent from the park for a long time like Peter Pan and Wendy, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Bert, Ariel and Eric and the rest of the princesses.

  12. This is what Disney is all about… We have been going for 5yrs now and I found the best parade (not that the others are bad) was this one last year as we saw a lot of the older Characters which you don`t often see — Mary Poppins, Dumbo, Mad Hatter, etc.

And it was wonderful to see all the original Disney Characters again, the ones I was brought up with as a child. But hey, all the new Disney Characters are just as fantastic and the work that must go into making the out-fits, but seeing everyones faces especially the children makes all that hard work that they have put in worth while.

We seem to enjoy our time at Disney, but what about all the people behind the scenes who are there to make our Holiday that extra special, we owe them a big Thank You.

  13. This Parade is absolutely amazing… The Floats are extremely beautiful. You cannot possibly go to disneyland paris during the 15th anniversary and not stop and watch the parade for 15 minutes. It will be 15 Minutes well spent!!

The music that goes with the parade really adds to the wonderful atmosphere… “Just like we dreamed it” Is such a wonderful song!!

  14. An amazing parade! My entire family enjoyed it. My father and I just made sure to get there early(about fifty minutes early) and there were already people sitting on the sidewalk. We got some of the last good seats, and saved them for the two other members of my family, who went to do another ride we hadn’t wanted to do. It worked out well; they came back, and we all got to enjoy the parade together!

The characters and the people in the parade make it such an exciting experience. I always thought they interacted with just the children(as they should), but they were coming over to me as well! Ah, I suppose Disney enjoys bringing out everyone’s inner-child. Definitely a must-see part of Disney!

  15. What a wonderful parade, it was lovely and the music was great i feel sorry for anybody videoing it around me as i was singing along lol.

Special thanks to Kevin the pirate who was one of the pre-parade cast members on the 19th march i think. He kept us entertained while waiting for the parade and chatted to us quite abit and by the time the parade started my daugter had developed quite a big crush.

  16. This parade was mine and my familys favourite parade. You have to get a good standing position to see the parade well. Best to watch in the summer but is also great in the winter. Nearly every disney character imaginable is there. The music stays in your head for a long time, i was humming it all the way home. This parade truly is a dream.

    10/10

  17. Brilliant parade, definately not one to miss!! It was raining when we took position for this parade about 30minutes before it started but as if by magic the rain stopped just for the duration of the parade!! This parade lasts between 30-40minutes, a lot longer than the studios parade. Had a fantastic view for this parade and got some amazing pictures. Has every character under the sun and I was thrilled that there was a piglet…have never seen him before!

  18. I really loved this parade, the way the characters interact with the audience is great, the floats are amazing and the music is so catchy it just makes you want to dance along. I loved Mickeys float and Winnie the Poohs :)

Seeing this parade really made mine and my daughters day, Magical, magical, MAGICAL!

  19. A good parade that incorporates nearly all of the disney characters , I cant think of any that were missing. I felt slightly cheated that each float was split into two themes which were not necessarily linked. The music to this one is the best I have heard for a parade.

  20. Absolutely fabulous!! Everything’s perfect. The song, the floats and the characters!!

My fave float is mickey’s and peter pan’s!!

    By Kathy15 on 13th January 2008

  21. Never normally a huge fan of parades, but this one is really good. Very clever how they have integrated two themes into one float – my favourite is the ‘baddie’ float, Maleficient is magnificient! Definitely see at least once from the start – Bella Notte is an underrated but very good spot, as is the view from the window in Market Street Deli when you are having a Croque Monsieur, yum yum!!

  22. One of the best parades i’ve seen at Disneyland Paris in ten years. Beautiful costumes, wonderful floats and the best parade song (even more so than ‘its halo..ween..o ..ween everybody’!!)

The best section is the Alice in Wonderland Float, Amazing!!

  23. It’s me & my wife’s 1st time going to Disneyland! I can tell you it is the MOST WONDERFUL thing we’d both ever seen! The parade was full of magic & hapiness! Me & my wife really felt happy watching the parade… its like magic! We saw the parade live twice & god knows how many times we saw it on our video cam! We’d been back from Paris bout 2 months & we still enjoy watching it over & over & OVER again! Its something that we both will remember for our entire life!!

  24. Aww I had tears in my eyes yet again. I didn’t think this parade would be better than the one I saw in Feb this year which had different music, but it was just as good and the floats and characters were great. Just a shame we didn’t get there a bit earlier to have a better view. Disney parade we love you!!

  25. This parade is brilliant! All comes together: Smell, Music, Colors and of course a lot of fun! There´s so much to look! Everywhere a little detail and the “Just like we dreamed it”-song ist great!

  26. I’ve been to Disney a number of times in Florida, California and now Paris but I’ve never seen the main parade. Not sure why because this was fantastic.

It was about 30mins long and the floats were brilliant and the characters all really get it spot on.

  27. This parade is fantastic. A wonderfully enjoyable parade for all ages. Each float is unique, with individual music and scents. Lots of opportunities for photos and interactions with the characters due to the parade stops. A great chance to see favourites, old and new! I saw it 3 times during my stay and everytime I watched it, I spotted something or someone new! A truely amazing parade that I would strongly recommend seeing.

  28. This parade is beautiful! In my opinion, it’s the best parade Disneyland Park has ever had. The floats are stunning, the music is great and there are nice smells too! This was one of the biggest highlights of my last trip – Everyone must see it!

By RnRCj on 20th October 2007

  29. Do miss the other parades especially the “Dancin” theme tune but this parade is really good as well. Each float has their own song and the Princess Float you can actually smell the flowers – thought I was imagining this but when I saw it again the same thing happened – anyone else noticed this? My favourite part of the Once Upon a Dream Parade is seeing Chip ‘n’ Dale (my favourites). Thought they looked so cute in their little outfits.

  30. Ok, we all miss the Wonderful World of Disney Parade, but this is something else. The song grows on you and each float has a different song associated with it. There are lots of little parade stops, so you can take a lot of pictures and each time we saw this parade, the characters would come and interact with the audience. Strangely enough, each float is scented – I won’t give too much away because it really makes you stop and look – but try and get there early to stand ‘front row’ so you get the full effect of the parade. The floats look amazing and the whole show is about half an hour. Overall, it is incredible.

  31. Great parade, with great “stops”. Check the full DLRP magic! guide for these special stops.
One little note, use your nose when the floats drive by!
