1. I have been to disney over 10 times now and have stayed at cheyenne about 5 times now. We have never had any problems here. Rooms are clean, enough towels, love the disney soap and shampoos, beds are pretty comfortable. Sometimes even had a watercooker and tea or coffee in the room.

   I also like the way it is built. All separate “apartment buildings” this prevents you from having to walk 10 minutes before you are in front of your hotel to go to the park. Most of the time the room was available when we arrived in the morning which was great because we could drop our luggage in the room straight away.

   Also had enough to eat at breakfast. Different types of bread, cheese, 2 kinds of sausage, jam, hot chocolate, coffee or tea and orange juice and fruit. What else do you need? It is a good idea to go to breakfast a bit early, because after 8.15 it can get busy! We are going back next week and staying here once again!

2. It’s the 6th time I’ve been to Disney and 2nd time i’ve stayed at Cheyenne.

   We had no problem with anything. The room was clean, we had 4 towels – 1 each, soaps, shower gel.
   The bed was really comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds. The cleaners came in every day and the room was warm and clean.

   The breakfast in the morning was good, plenty of choice and I recommend getting in early/first sitting. That way there is plenty of space to sit down. Cereals, pastries, toast, meat, cheeses, fruit salad, tea, coffee, chocolate, juices, milk etc

   Had dinner one evening to and it was fine. Good selection, not quite as busy as the other buffets we went to. Nice food.

   Would recommend Cheyenne to anyone. Was really good and the kids liked it, didn’t take long to walk from the park either.

3. I simply could not disagree with the previous review more. It was our first time at Disneyland Paris and we stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne and we all thought it was fine. True its not perfect but the rooms were fine, the food was good and the theming amazing. The only thing that was bad was the unfortunate nickname we gave it, which we still use a joke today! The best time to go for me would be when we went, in January when the bright colours of the buildings stood out so well against the grey sky.

   I’d stay in this hotel again when we next go, because there is nothing wrong with it.

4. Myself my wife and daughter have just come back from our first Disney Halloween but its our 6th time at Disney, and we have to say the Hotel Cheyenne is a cheap immitation of Butlins, its one of the worst hotels in Disney I`ve come across.

   The hotel room that we stayed at was rarely cleaned, never hoovered, no complimentry soaps or shower gel, not enough towels, what these cleaners get paid for beats me.

   We also tried the breakfast, what a total sham, not at all organised and its basically an accident waiting to happen, when we went for breakfast it was one total mad rush people knocking into each other, it was a complete stampeed, parents not watching what their children were getting upto, running past people with trays of food,as for the staff well what can you say they just don`t seem to bothered about peoples safety, food left on the floor.

   I`m not trying to be a stick in the mud here, but something needs to be done about health and safety at this hotel, I mean if a child got accidently burnt by a hot drink who takes responsibilty there?

   It was the same on the all you can eat on the evenings, kids running about like it was a play ground running in and out of tables, and not one member of staff stopped this, they should re-evaluate the saftey at meal times.

   This is my first and last time staying at Cheyenne, Every morning when waking up I had such a bad headache the pillows were soft and lumpy but enough to make you uncomfortale, I know at the end of the day your saying to yourself “Its only a room that your sleeping in” but you want the comfort and the experience to make you want to return.

   The only thing good I have to say the lay out of the hotels was really good infact brilliant, like a proper western town as you see in Cowboy movies, I took plenty of photos of the area very authentic.

   But sadly for the money we spent going there, the rest of the stay was a total waste of money, a total sham, no health and safety, staff not concerned of what was going on around them, I ended up not feeling to good after eating at the All You Can Eat, which made may stay unbearable constantly trying to find toilets….

   Please don`t let me put anybody off going, as your stay maybe different to our`s just be prepared for a gun start and then running to get to your trays and fighting for your food whilst being pushed about….

   I give this Hotel Cheyenne 3/10 and thats being generous……I`ve never had these problems when staying at Newport Bay and Sequoia Lodge, they are a credit to Disney for health and safety and being total organised at breakfast time and evening meal times, and the staff are 100% commited to their customers…. So if you want value for money pay that bit extra and get the service you deserve.

   Sorry Hotel Cheyenne….

5. Stayed in this hotel last halloween with my mum and dad. It is such a fun hotel! has a nice big shop and the whole atmosphere is laid back and friendly, staff were brilliant as always and would go back in the morning! The boot lamp in the room is also a nice wee feature! So much much variety for breakfast and there was no rush for times.

6. I visited the Hotel Cheyenne last year during the Bonfire period with my Husband. This hotel is amazing. As soon as you arrived you can feel the „Old Wild West” in every details. The landscape is perfect. The reception area and the whole main building is just FUN! The restaurant itself is one of the best place in the Hotel, astonishing details everywhere, warm welcoming feeling especially where you can find the food stands.

   The hotel room is comfortable, perfect for a good night sleep. The breakfast the usual one I love every piece of it. I liked this hotel better than the Sequoia Lodge and this one is cheaper. The walk to the Parks and to the Village is beautiful, especially if you visiting during the autumn, and not that long approx 5-10 min, after a big breakfast just what you need.

   I would recommend this Hotel for everybody this hotel has the best value! If you can check in early in this way you can have a building close to the main building.

7. I stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne in Jan this year and was surprisingly impressed. The hotel’s theme is fantastic, especially the way the accommodation blocks are thought out.

   We had asked for a number requests when we made our booking and all were accommodated when we checked in (low floor, quiet room, 2 rooms next to each other, cot ect). The hotel bed rooms are more than adequate, most important they were clean and warm.

   Breakfast was exactly what you need to start your day, cereals, bread/croissants, cheese, ham, toast, jams etc (We also made up some rolls for lunch with what was on offer). Plus I liked the fact I could keep going to the tea and coffee machine for a top up, as many times as we liked. Definitely head into the breakfast room before 7:45 though, after this it’s definitely a bit of a bun fight!

   The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the Village/Park entrances and this was a much better choice than the free-for-all shuttle bus.

   I would definitely choose to stay here again, I have stayed at the Holiday Inn and also the Sequoia lodge and feel that this hotel offers the best value for money. Big thumbs up from all of us!

9. The most bigger hotel of the Resort (a little bigger than Santa Fé). Inside (from the grand lunch room to the hall) or outside, the décor is very immersive, it’s seems like a second Main Stree U.S.A., years and years before !

10. I loved it! Can’t really find fault with the place at all. I lovely setting and well themed. The bar was a nice place to sit as was the area outside. I loved the walk from the hotel to the parks each day and thought the buffet breakfast was good, plenty of seating.

    We had the buffet dinner on one night of our stay. I nearly died when I saw the price. But, having eaten there I would say the value for money was pretty good. There was some great items on the menu and whatsmore, you could go back as many times as you wanted.

    The rooms were clean and fairly big. Beds were comfortable and clean too.

    For the extra £10 or so it usually is to stay here instead of the Santa Fe, there is no doubt in my mind at all as to which I would choose!

11. I’ve been to 3 hotels in Disneyland Resort Paris (This one, Davy Crockett Ranch and Sequoia Lodge) and this is my favorite. Excellent theme, comfortable and clean rooms, good lobby (with everything near.. restaurant, reception, WC, store…) and a good scenario on the Meet’n'Greet every morning.

    Perfect hotel to rest when you go on the summer. If you go on the Winter, it’s no so good, because this do not have a pool.

12. I liked staying at the hotel. It is well themed and the rooms are nice. I love the great bed, its so comfortable =)

    The food was very good and every morning you can see a nice Disney character.. I think I saw the girl from Toy Story 2, Pluto and Goofy. Really cute ;)

13. Really excellent value for money, I have stayed here twice and will be there again this year. The atmosphere and theming are fantastic. The food and service are very good and the room was cosy and in keeping with the rest of the hotel.

14. If you want to meet cowboys and indians this one is for you! For a price close to the Hotel Santa Fe, you have here a much more immersive theming! Good for small budgets!

15. I went to Disneyland Paris on the 28th April 2008 with my mam. We’ve been around 5 times before sharing a room with others. The first time we went we stayed at santa fe and since then have stayed at the sequoia lodge. As there was just the two of us it was going to be a bit too expensive (for me at least) to upgrade to the sequoia lodge and we under no circumstances wanted to stay at santa fe, we’re not big fans even though I loved it at the time as I was a kid on my first ever visit to a disney park!We decided to book the cheyenne as a change.We were a bit dubious as the time grew closer as we had received both good and bad comments.

    When we arrived the bus from the airport dropped us off and we went into the hotel lobby to check in. The theming was FANTASTIC! I’ll try not to go on but check in was quick and painless,we booked our breakfast slots as normal then got our key and went to the room. The only thing was we were sent a strange way to our room back out of hotel and around through a car park…WHY we don’t know!?! However it still only took about 10 minutes to find the building.(We didnt need to go that way again.

    There are 12/13 separate buildings arranged into streets and a main square it is real Disney Magic as you think you are in a real street in a real town in the west, there are verandas along all the sides of the buildings with benches on them, its just like you see in cowboy films where they step up onto decking with a covered bit on. We were in a downstairs room and went in-the theming of the room was the best we’ve ever seen,(my parents have stayed in others not mentioned above in USA),the boot lamp, the mirror was great with a hat on,the wallpaper, even the curtain was a cowboys necker. That said it wasn’t childish or too much..just great! We had meal in hotel first night guess what..IT WAS GREAT!! It beat the buffet at sequoia lodge hands down based on quality of food and variation.There were chicken portions, sausages,pizza,lovely big chips,a big salad section,beans,potatoes,the chef was carving a freshly cooked massive ham that melted in your mouth,soup,types of rice hot and cold including jambalieya(excuse spelling please..ta),a chinese section with noodles etc,all on their own section as you went in,set out like shops, then the desserts were even better,at SL there was these boiled merangue things and pre packaged by the looks of it cakes and tarts, here were caramel desert,choc mousse and rice pud in big bowls,lots of flans and cheese/choc-cakes(fresh)and(the best)fresh cakes with cream and sponge layered together with stuff on top!! all different types – apricot,berry,too many to mention or I don’t know what they were but they tasted nice.Well better than nice FAB!!!! Theres a large cheese section as well but we didn’t pay much attention to that.

    Now the breakfasts. Oh the beds were comfy and warm,I was in bottom bunk I’m 29 and 5′9″ish,my mam was in double. So breakfast,again no complaint. The only difference between this and SL and breakfast in the park is there was no fresh fruit or flavoured yoghurt just big bowls of natural yoghurt and apple puree.That is not enough to spoil it though some people might complain about the tinned fruit.I had a great big bowl. There are lots of cereals,ham,cheese (2 types)and buns,there is also a vat of tomato salsa and tubs of garlic dotted about the place(the french can be a strange lot at times),but then you don’t have to have any if you don’t want it.Also the Disney specials – the croissants.Anyone whos stayed Disney before will know theres the plain and the chocolate. All piled up,they must have a lorry full for each hotel. If you’re lucky and catch some being put out you’ll get warm ones if not dip them in your coffee french style! I usually have at least 4/5 and dip the choc(warm or not) and just dip the plain into the tubs of jam, don’t bother spreading them just rip a bit off and stick in the pot.You get apricot,s/berry, marmalade,choc spread and sometimes honey.

    There are drink machines all around dining room,oj,milky coffee,expresso,black coffee,hot choc.If you don’t want a milky coffee just get a black one and add some milk,there are milk dispensers for the cereal all over as well.It was raining on and off when we went but it was no hassle to get to breakfast on morning and took no time at all which was one of the things we were unsure of.

    There was no noise in rooms overnight, the staff were pleasant enough though some ignored you as you passed,theres certainly no ‘have a nice day’ attitude.That will be the same in all hotels and the parks. This is France after all. Don’t compare to USA as the french haven’t grown up with Disney and haven’t perfected the Disney Spirit!! All said ‘n’ done I’d stay there any time. It’s my new FAVE hotel!! 10/10

16. Our last two trips have involved stays at the Cheyenne. It is great value for money. Our last trip had four of us in the same room. The kids had a bunk bed to sleep in which is agreat adventure. The theme in the rooms is in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The lampshade is even a cowboy boot. Comfortable, themed rooms for four is how I would describe them. The hotel layout is great aswell. The wild west feel is all around. Breakfast is good and not too busy from our experience.

    The biggest bonus is that it is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the parks which is ideal after a hard day of fun. Thoroughly recommended. We will definately be staying there again.

17. I brought my little brother who’s 10 on his first trip to Disneyland in March 08, it was also my first experience in staying at a Disney hotel. I originally chose this hotel as it was the cheapest price I had been quoted and I was slighty wary as to exactly how “budget” it would be. Once we arrived I was absolutely delighted! The hotel layout and decor is amazing, I think the idea of having separate bunkhouses instead of one big hotel is great. You really do feel like you’re in The Wild West. There is plenty of open spaces for kids to run around safely away from roads. The photos I saw of the hotel before I went really don’t do it any justice. The shuttle bus service to the park is great, there’s a bus around every 10 minutes and they’re huge so everyone always seems to fit on.

    Hotel rooms themselves are clean and warm. There isn’t a whole lot of space but for the amount of time spent in them they are perfect. The rooms are cleaned every morning, bathroom was spotless. Decor in the rooms is very tacky but thats half the fun! Especially love the cowboy boot lamp! Beds are chunky wooden framed and very cosy. There are only 2 English speaking channels on the tv, one is the Disney channel (surprise!) and BBC World news. There was no hairdryer in the room even though there was one advertised, I brought my own so didn’t bother asking for one but they are available at reception. At check-in you are asked to choose your preferred time for breakfast, from my observation it didn’t seem to matter if you were late or early, the passes are just used as a general guideline. I also seen a lot of people sending one person to queue with all the breakfast passes and then when everyone was ready they all go straight to the front of the queue without having to wait. This seems to be very handy for families with small kids!

    The gift shop in the hotel is great and supply everything you would need. I definately recommend using the shopping service in the parks. When paying for your items just ask for them to be sent back to the hotel and then they are available after 8pm in your hotel gift shop, a lot easier than carrying bags around all day!

    All in all the Cheyenne is a lovely hotel and is suitable for all shapes and sizes of families, and I’ll be seeing it myself again very soon, planning for a return trip very shortly!

18. This hotel is super value for money and the perfect place to take a family with young children. We have stayed here twice and would stay here again.

    If you are planning to see it all and make the most every minute (extra hours and all) of the parks, this place has clean, comfortable rooms to sleep in and freshen up at. Tea and coffee facilities are available for an extra 12 euros on check in, and we could keep our stroller up and wheel it in to the room with plenty of space to spare.

    The breakfast is continental and varied. I’ve read that guests complain about the time slot system but we have found it to be flexible and have always got the right time for us. We ate here in the evening just once, but didn’t like it as much as other restaurants on the parks or in the village – it was limited choice and pre plated – although quite inexpensive compared to other hotel meals.

    The theming is the real selling point of this hotel. Attention to detail oozes from everything, in the rooms, main buildings and outside. It feels like you are staying in another ‘land’ of the park itself. We enjoyed walking the streets of the western town, and the kids thought the play area was fab.

    The central area comes to life on a warm summer evening. One of our highlights was seeing Goofy dancing to a country and western style ‘Hound Dog’ as guests ate outside. Meeing the characters and enjoying them in a less formal setting adds to the whole Disney experience. The hotel has a shop, launderette, and indoor games room. The inside play area is really a colouring in table and tv, but keeps children amused during check in etc.

    The walk to the parks is fine if your little ones are in a stroller, but it may test kids’ legs after a day in the parks. It can be a scrum getting onto the shuttle bus, depending on the time of day, but it takes about 5 mins by bus and 15 mins adult walking pace to the park gates.

    If you are planning a longer Disney experience I would recommend the Newport Bay or Sequoia for the extra facilities to use like the pools etc, as you could take your holiday at a more leisurely pace, and enjoy the closer proximity to the village and parks. Lakeside views are worth paying for too.

    If you want a Disney experience from the moment you wake, like getting good value for money, and intend to get out there and make the most of being at the heart of the magic, this hotel is for you.

19. We stayed here twice, upgraded the last time to Sequoia Lodge, but will be coming back to here! The first thing that strikes you is how large this hotel is! The reception is big, easy to access and well in character. The shop sells everything you need. Once checked in, the rooms were easy to find as they are all named after well known characters. The rooms are just what you need and are clean. When wondering around, there is plenty of space for the kids to run around and play, just what you want at Disney! The restaurant is massive, and although busy at breakfast, good enough to fill up on ready for the day out. In the evening, although we didn’t eat there, the food looked excellent. The staff were also playing with the children (cowboys), and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves.

    Although the hotel is a bit further from the park, the walk is pleasant enough, and relaxing, just what you need after a day of rollercoasters!

    Overall, this is an excellent hotel. Don’t be fooled by the “budget” label, as it isn’t. We will definately be going back to this hotel.

20. This really is a fantastically themed hotel, and Disney have done it very well indeed. It’s clean, the rooms are a decent size (although we were just a couple on our own, if there were kids in the bunks it might seem a bit crowded), and as far as I could tell, none of the ‘bunkhouses’ were a huge distance from the main building, although they didn’t seem to be on top of each other either.

    This was a fantastic place to wake up on a winter’s morning as well, as the mist covering the streets makes it look even more ‘authentically’ Wild Western!

    Only downside is that this hotel is a favourite for school groups, and while we were there at the end of January, all the bunkhouses except ours were full of schools. Apparently they are packed full with teenagers for about 5 weeks during January and February every year.

    A lovely hotel for a budget option, with a decent breakfast buffet and reasonable dinner buffet – although to be honest for the same sort of price a better and often less crowded buffet can be had in the Disney Village at Billy Bobs!

    We found it was a fantastic place to stay with our Dream Passes as well, as we took the lazy option and drove to the New York every morning to park the car!

21. I have been 3 times to Hotel Cheyenne. Last time was in May 2005 and I’m going next this year in August. I really love this hotel. The theming and atmosphere is great. You really have the feeling of staying in a wild west town out of a wild west movie. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The reception staff was always friendly and Check-In was fast and easy.

    Breakfast is very good and there is plenty to choose from and to get filled. I just love to sit somewhere outside at the hotel on a warm evening and soak up the atmosphere around you. The hotel is great for children as there are a lot of activities for them and the rooms have a bunk bed.

    I rate the hotel 9/10.

22. My BF and I were planning on staying at the Santa Fe hotel as funds are a bit tight but we kept putting it off booking, then the night we went to book(through the disney site) the 15% had vanished for the dates we wanted and a window popped up saying options of a similar price and the Cheyenne worked out to be £40 less so we decided to book that instead and we are SOOO glad we did. What a wonderful place to stay.

    The room was lovely and clean and the atmosphere was great. The rooms maybe a bit small for larger families but it was perfect for the 2 of us.
    Check in was a bit chaotic if you take the Eurostar as everyone piles in at 12:30 ish and your in for a long wait and then you have to hang around till 3 when your room is ready to get rid of your larger bags. Next time we are going to use the express check in service, it did give us time to look round the hotel grounds and take some pictures whilst we were waiting (lugging a very heavy bag in tow).

    The food in the restaurant was great (we were on the Disneyland paris halfboard option which worked out great) maybe some of the buffet items could have been a little hotter but I can’t complain. I am not much of a breakfast person so I didn’t take full adavantage of breakfast in th hotel but my BF loved the selection of pasteries and cereal.

    I recommend walking to the park instead of taking the bus if you are able, not only will you get there quicker if you have just missed a bus but it is a very pleasent 10 min walk beside the river.

    We will definately be staying here again later this year!! Missing it already!

23. Our first stay at Disneyland Paris was almost 10 years ago and was in the Cheyenne. Since then we’ve stayed in every Disney hotel except the Disneyland (waiting for a lotto win!). This time there were 6 in our party (usually just the 2 of us) and cost was a factor, so we chose the Cheyenne because it represented great value for money. We arrived on the 17th of January and stayed for 4 nights.

    The rooms were just as we remembered, but seemed a little cosier since there were more of us this time! We had adjoining rooms (as requested) and it worked out really well as it felt like a big family room! We were expecting breakfast to be a bit manic but turned out to be fine (we did eat quite early though), and was the usual fare of cold meats, cereals and breads/croissants. We hadn’t been to the Red Garter or Chuck Wagon on our previous visits, but this time we went to the bar on 3 of our 4 nights and had the all you can eat buffet in the Chuck Wagon once. The bar had a good atmosphere and the restaurant was really good too.

    Overall this was a really enjoyable stay and I’d recommend the Cheyenne to anyone on a budget.

24. Ive stayed here 9 times and I still love it. Its just magical, the sights,the smells,the atmosphere… its like staying in Frontier Land. The food is great too. The rooms are small but really cosy, very appreciated in January! Highly recommended.

25. I stayed here 4 times from 1997 until 2006, and it was so lovely.. time and time again! I just love the whole theme of the wild west, it’s so lovely and cosy..you just feel like you really are in the wild west somewhere!

    The rooms are very clean, would never complain about that! But one thing that’s a bit negative is, that the food in the restaurant isn’t that good.. Well, i don’t really think it’s all my opinion.. Everyone i know said this. It’s just.. i don’t know.. not that good quality.. I mean it doesn’t make you sick or ill, but it’s not worth spending money or time in this restaurant except for breakfast (which is obviously included). So you’re better having a nice meal at the Village.

    But the hotel is great!! So just enjoy your stay if you’re gonna be there.. ! :-)

27. I stayed at the cheyenne in september 07 and found it a great place to stay, especially considering the price. Previously id stayed at the sequoia Lodge and found the cheyenne perfectly reasonable too. There was just 2 of us both adults, but i did feel that the rooms could be abit small for larger families or groups and the double bed is quite small.

    In my opinion kids would love this hotel as the grounds are massive and theres lots for them to do and see, including pony rides (i think theres an extra charge for this) and i was lucky enough to have my photo taken with Mickey Mouse at the hotel one morning, with very little queue at all.

    All in all, a great value hotel that has everything you need. I look forward to returing soon.

28. Disney on a budget? Then Cheyenne is the place to go. Really well themed and a good price to stay here.

    Kids will love the cowboy theme and its not too far from the parks to walk, although there is a free shuttle bus every 10 minutes or so. Stayed here many many times and still love it.

29. We are two adults who loved our stay at the Cheyenne! It was everything we expected it would be. We loved the theming and were laughing as we walked to our room, a CM dressed as a cowboy playing with some children waving to us as we waved back. All the CM’s at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast each morning was plentiful and good. One tip is to get in there as early as possible as it gets quite busy as after say, 7:30am! Our room was clean and not worn out at all, and the shower was hot and powerful. The only negative at all is that the double bed was a bit on the small side so my boyfriend ended up sleeping in the bottom bunk bed. The blanket was not an adult sized blanket but he managed so it was fine. Also the walls were a bit thin but after a long day at Disneyland Paris we were too tired to care! At only a few euros per night more than the Santa Fe I feel the theming is much nicer. We will be back :)!

30. We had 3 adults, a child and a toddler in one room! Yes, it was a bit crowded (serves us right for been skinflints and sharing I suppose) but otherwise I thought the hotel was absolutely fine. The only complaints I have is that there are no tea-making facilities and no hair-dryer, which I found a bit irritating.

    I was a little aprehensive about the food, as I had read terrible reviews about Chuck Wagon (the hotel’s restaurant) but was pleasantly surprised to find a big buffet with a wide range of hot and cold food and some really yummy deserts. Breakfast can be slightly chaotic, with hundreds of people trying to find tables but overall it was fine. We went half-board, which made things much easier. We had meant to try other restaurants during our stay but it was just so easy to eat at the hotel and the food was fine, so we didn’t bother.

    I would definitely recommend this hotel, as it is clean, not far from the Village and Parks and good value for money. The staff were also very polite and helpful.

31. We have been there 3 times so far and we are never been disappointed.

    The Cheyenne is not far from the Village and it makes a nice walk even at nighttime, the buildings are well themed and the rooms are nice – even if they are not too big.

    I would say they are ok for a family with kids but a bit too small for 4 adults – as we were – I could just complain about the main bed as it is not a normal double bed but a *single plus another half* if it makes sense and, as my partner is quite big, we were a bit too tight, suppose it can be annoying in summer. The bathroom is pretty big and with a pretty big shower-bath too.

    This hotel is a good value for the price and i would recommend it if you don’t want to waste money in extras that you could not really use.
