Lovely hotel, large luxurious rooms with all the mod cons – widescreen TV etc. I personally got a bargain when staying here – usually its pretty expensive. The draw back is its quite far from the Parks – the hotel runs their own shuttle – when I was there in March it ran from 8.30 until 22.00 so if you want to say in the park any later you have to get a taxi which costs around 11-12 euros. The shuttle bus only carries about 18 people so it can get pretty cosy.
I would recommend this hotel to those who wants bit of pampering and to get away from the Disney thing after being in the parks all day as its not a theme hotel like some of the others so kids might not find it much fun.
Breakfast was included in my booking and it was fabulous – huge choice.
The last times, we often stayed at HolidayInn or Kyriad, cause of their good value. Though, the prices especially at HolidayInn got a lot higher the last months. Unfortunately, we got no rooms in both hotels, but therefor a very good offer for the Radisson SAS.
We arrived late at night by car, but it was easy to find. The signage is excellent and so we parked our car and went to the check-in. Very friendly and obliging stuff – even at 3 a.m. in the morning.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It had a flatscreen-TV and a beautiful bathroom. A very high-standard room!
In the morning, the elevator brought us directly to the lobby. There fresh coffee and croissants were waiting for the new guests or these ones, who just wanted to read the newspaper or were waiting for someone. All for free.
We went for breakfast. Nice Restaurant. One room to eat – one room with the breakfast-buffet. And honestly: It was the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel. Great range of croissants, bread, baps, toast, sweets, fruits, yoghurt, sausages, Pancakes, Kelloggs,… there was an extra buffet for children with small portions of cheese, sausages and yoghurts. And again: very friendly stuff.
The overall experience was wonderful. The Radisson has a nice and modern atmosphere. A good service and a high standard. Furthermore it is nice situated with a view on Disney Golf.
9 Stars out of 10 because this high standard has a higher price!
