Stayed here for 4 nights in September 2009 and are repeat guests.
The hotel is nicely presented with a castle theme and staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Our rooms were on the second floor and adjacent to one another (as requested) and were HUGE! This is one reason we stay here as rooms at Disney operated hotels are somewhat smaller in size.
The kids loved the bunk beds with a curtain to hide away from Mum and Dad whilst Mum and Dad loved the super big bed and clean room – and the amazing toiletries too.
There is a kettle in the room and you get started off with some teabags, etc. but have to pay extra for more – tip:- stock up on teabags/sugar at breakfast and buy some milk in the lobby store.
Breakfast was wonderful – large selection of cold meats, cheeses and bakery items as one would expect but also sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and potatoes for us British – once again, much better than at Disney operated hotels.
Tip – get to breakfast before 08:30am or you’ll be in for a wait.
And the hot chocolate is really good!
However…the dinner was really, really, really bad! Having eaten here before a couple of years ago and enjoying it we were looking forward to another great meal. The selection was decent enough but the service was appalling, especially at 29 Euro per person – had to wait a whole hour for our wine only to be told that there was none left! Dirty plates left on the table, guests walking out with LOADS of food (clearly to make picnics for the next day) and we even managed to walk out without paying (just wanted to test them and went back to pay after a few minutes). Great if you’re a dodgy character but when you’re honest like us we just felt bad for the owners that their staff were so bad in the restaurant.
Shuttle service was good and ran every 10 – 20 minutes.
All in all, another great stay though the hotel was starting to look a little tired we were happy to be there again with all the space and a bit of time out from the madness.
This was our first vist to Disneyland Paris and we went August 2009. We took our 3 and half year old daughter so wanted somehwere special to stay. This hotel was fantastic! The staff where all really friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and very clean. Our room had fantastic view of the grounds as I believe they all do. Our daughter particularily liked the bunk beds withthe curtain. Room servcie always seemed to make an effort when tidying and even set up our daughters Princess dolls on the bed one day. It was a lovely touch!
The hotel is very child friendly with plenty to keep them amused. The grounds where beautiful and great for a walk after eating at the buffett in the evening. You can also walk around the lake to a bigger park at the Magic Circus hotel.
Breakfast was busy but as they opended both restaurants it was not a problem and the selection of food was great. Something for everyone. We also ate in the evening at the international buffett (although there was adifferent theme each night) Under 4′s ate free and again a great selection of freshly cooked food.
We would definatley stay here again and the bonus of not having to drive due to the free shuttle service was great. Watch out though as the buses get really busy at times due to it being ghe last pick up and drop off on the route. Saying this they are regular at every 10 mins or so.
A great place to stay and play!!!
We stayed here with our 2 children over New Year for 2 nights and were quite disappointed especially after staying at the Explorers Hotel in Feb 07. On arrival the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, we found it very difficult to buy tickets for the parks at the desks and were fobbed off from different reception staff from one place to another and then were told we would have to buy tickets at the park direct.
On entering our room, which I had no complaints about, we found a card advertising tickets for the park at the reception at the same price that were offered at the park! Once again we went back to reception where another member of staff said to come back the following day, which we did and managed to get them. The minimal staff that were there seemed not bothered that long queues of people were waiting, maybe this was because it was New Year period?
The breakfast was generally good. The other main complaint was that the pool was freezing cold, so we only went in once and the shower facilities were dirty, so we had to get dressed and go back to our room to get showered there. I wouldn’t personally recommend this hotel and would try others locally where hopefully the staff are more pleasant.
This is a nice, well presented hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was clean on the whole apart from the carpet which had stains on it. Check in and out was very quick and the regular shuttle bus got us to the packs with no problems.
The bar was nice and a good way to finish off an exhausting day on your feet or you could take your drinks into the reception and let the kids play in the activity area.
Everyone in our party enjoyed the 5 nights we stayed and we would certainly go back next time.
We stayed here on our last night of our Paris vacation after staying two nights at Disney’s Newport Bay Club, which was awful. We should have stayed here the whole time.
Check in was a bit of a wait, but not a problem really. The check in staff was very friendly. We had no problems having them hold the luggage while we visited the parks. I did not like the idea of them having a kid’s play area in the lobby. The kids would not stop screaming. Also, smokers would hang out just outside the lobby entrance, so every time in our out, was going through a fog of smoke. It was the same everywhere.
The room was super clean and very nice. Everything worked properly and the in room internet worked great.
We had no problems using the buses to the parks even though it was busy.

We recently stayed at the hotel with our 2 grandchildren and they loved it, particularly the pool and lobby area. Buffet breakfast was very good. However disappointed that we had to queue some mornings. The staff were not that good.
