We stayed at Davy crocketts Ranch in Jan 2008 and ate here twice , the service was friendly. The food was buffet style eat as much as you like and there was a good selection of good standard although sometimes only warm rather than Hot. The best part of the Restaurant is the Character visits , we saw Pluto, goofy, chip & dale and Mickey. Our children were delighted and we got autographs and some wonderful photographs.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the tavern. It’s an all you can eat buffet with an excellent variety of freshly cooked food. It was a little busy when we visited, but I guess that says something in itself. We’d always opted for a similar meal at the Lucky Nugget in the park. However, the crocket was definitely superior (and little cheaper!), and it made more sense to have a large meal at night (the nugget is only open for lunches).
